Recommended: Filtered Fan Kit

A filtered fan and exhaust louver kit will provide sufficient forced-air cooling. Mount the fan in the lower third of the enclosure and the exhaust filter at the top to maximize convective airflow. Thermostat control is recommended to extend fan life.

This calculator provides engineering estimates based on industry-standard formulas (ASHRAE, NEMA, UL 508A). Final cooling selection should be verified by a licensed engineer. Outsourced Controls performs thermal analysis as part of every panel design review.

We Handle the Thermal Design

Every Outsourced Controls panel includes a full thermal analysis and cooling specification as part of the build. No guesswork — we size and source the right cooling solution for your environment.
